This botanical gin comes from Kagoshima, Japan, home of the Komasa Jyozo distillery and a tiny type of local tangerine called "Sakurajima komikan".
Sakurajima is also the name of an active volcano in Kagoshima, the mandarins growing there reach a size of about 4 cm in diameter.
