Kurayoshi Sherry Cask

Matsui The Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky, which comes from the renowned Matsui distillery in Tottori, a picturesque region in the southern part of Honshu in Japan, impresses with a carefully thought-out maturation process. This pure malt was first matured for three years in oak casks, which are known for their ability to release gentle wood aromas and a subtle vanilla note into the whisky. It was then matured in sherry casks, which gave it additional depth and complexity.

This special combination of storage conditions ensures that the whisky develops a harmonious balance between creamy smoothness and the fruity, spicy notes of the sherry.
