Kavalan LÁN Single Malt

The Kavalan LÁN single malt whisky 43% vol. 0.7 l is an elegant bottling from the renowned Kavalan Distillery in Yilan, Taiwan. Its name "LÁN" means "orchid" in Mandarin and refers both to the distillery's home region and to Taiwan's reputation as the "land of orchids". At the same time, it is a tribute to the name "Kavalan", which comes from the language of the indigenous people of Yilan.

A careful selection of casks was made for this edition: The whisky is matured in a combination of bourbon, port and STR (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred) wine casks, resulting in a complex, aromatically multi-layered profile.
