Kanosuke Single Malt

The Kanosuke distillery, which is located on one of the most extensive sandy beaches in Japan, is launching its first regular bottling on the market with the Kanosuke Single Malt. Since its foundation in 2017 and the commissioning of three differently shaped stills, the distillery has mainly used American oak barrels, which were previously used to store shochu, a traditional Japanese high-proof spirit. For this bottling, however, the focus is increasingly on maturation in sherry casks.

It is an excellent new whisky and, as with all limited Kanosuke releases, stocks are not expected to last long. (automated translation)

Nose: Sweet, fruity, spicy.

Taste: Candied orange peel, chocolate, cinnamon, salted caramel.

Finish: Long lasting.
