High West Campfire

High West Campfire is the world's best blend of Scotch, Bourbon and Rye whiskeys. A very unusual, distinctive and yet delicious whiskey.

The peaty Scotch whisky used gives this blend a wonderfully smoky note reminiscent of campfires.

Campfire is a carefully selected blend of bourbon, rye and peat Scotch whisky, 4 to 8 years old. Maturation takes place in new charred white oak casks as well as in double-used bourbon casks.

Mash Bill:

- Straight Rye Whiskeys: 95% rye, 5% malted barley from MGP; 80% rye, 20% malted rye from the High West Distillery

- Straight Bourbon Whiskeys: 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley malt from MGP

- Blended malt Scotch Whisky: Unknown (for contractual reasons of the distillery)

Tasting notes:

Nose: Floral, fruity, spicy, caramel, butterscotch, smoke, jasmine, chai tea, sandalwood, leather, tobacco, toasted bread.

Taste: Vanilla, honey, toffee, fruit, blueberries, cherries, notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, orange zest, salted caramel, tobacco, smoke.

Finish: Long lasting, sweet-spicy, smoky.
