Glen Grant 50 years old

This impressive single malt was distilled in 1966, when its still was coal-fired resulting in a weightier spirit than Glen Grant typically produces today. It was matured in a hogshead for half a century, bottled by Signatory as part of its Rare Reserve range and carries complex sherry notes alongside the whisky’s bright orchard fruit character. Aromas of tarte Tatin, blackberry crumble and apple blossoms on the nose, leading to notes of prune, walnut and allspice on the palate. 54.6% abv.
