With the Rock Island 16 Years Old Sherry Edition, the independent bottler Douglas Laing presents a particularly 
distinctive variant of its maritime blended malt series. This small-batch blended malt Scotch whisky exclusively 
combines single malts from the Scottish islands of Islay, Jura, Arran, and Orkney, each matured for at least 
16 years. Additional maturation in carefully selected sherry casks gives the bottling a deep, fruity complexity 
that perfectly harmonizes with the typical coastal smokiness.  The Rock Island series stands for authentic, 
unadulterated whiskies with island character. This Sherry Edition is also non-chill-filtered, bottled in its 
natural color, and at 46.9% ABV, optimally calibrated to drinking strength – robust yet approachable.

Tasting Note: Color: Dark amber with reddish reflections. 
Nose: Maritime freshness meets raisins, leather, peat smoke, salted nuts, and dark cherries.
