Ardbeg 10 y.o.

Ardbeg is considered "without doubt the most impressive distillery in the world". The house was founded in 1815 and could be saved in 1997 just before the closure of the company.

The distillery is located on the storm-lashed, rugged and famous whisky island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.

Awards:

- Silver medal in 2012 at the International Wine & Spirits Competiton

Tasting notes:

Nose: sweet, smoky, toffee, chocolate, cinnamon, phenolic notes of citrus fruits.

Taste: Full-bodied, peat, hints of tobacco and espresso.

Finish: Long lasting, smoky.
