Its maturation consists of 41% Vin Doux Naturel casks (Sauternes), 33% Virgin American Oak, 17% First Fill Bourbon barrels, and 9% Premium French Oak casks, and it is non-chill filtered. The 2022 vintage features tasting notes of cherry, grapefruit, and clove on the palate, with a long, warm, and spicy finish.
