Steinhauser Brigantia Classic is the first single malt whisky from Lake Constance and represents the combination of tradition and regional heritage. The name "Brigantia" goes back to the Roman scholar Pliny the Elder, who mentioned the Upper Lake, today's upper part of Lake Constance, as Lacus Brigantius in his records around 70 AD.
This special whisky was distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2024, using a precise distillation process at the historic Steinhaus distillery from 1890. It is then matured for over three years in selected oak barrels, which give it its characteristic taste and impressive depth.
Steinhauser Brigantia Classic masterfully combines craftsmanship with the rich history of Lake Constance and is available in a strictly limited edition.
