Pure Kentucky XO Small Batch Bourbon is part of the Small Batch Boutique Bourbon Collection introduced in the 90's by the Willett distillery, just like Kentucky Vintage Small Batch Bourbon, Rowan's Creek Small Batch Bourbon or Noah's Mill Small Batch Bourbon. The hand-bottled Pure Kentucky XO is a true Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, now with no age statement, its previous version was aged for 12 years in oak barrels, developed selected spicy flavors that blend with hints of caramel and wood. It is assembled from 85% High corn (72% corn, 13% rye, 15% malted barley), and 15% Low corn (52% corn, 38% rye and 10% malted barley). Pure Kentucky XO Small Batch Bourbon earned a double gold medal in 2005 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
