Nuestra Soledad Mezcal Joven Lachiguí Miahuatlán is an outstanding example of artisanal mezcal from the renowned Miahuatlán de Porfirio Díaz region in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The Nuestra Soledad line is dedicated exclusively to showcasing different terroirs and master distillers (maestros mezcaleros) in order to emphasize the diversity of flavours and authenticity of traditional mezcal. This bottling comes from the small village of Lachiguí Miahuatlán, known for its mineral-rich soils and high-altitude agave fields.
This mezcal is made from 100% Espadín agave, which has been matured for several years under the Oaxacan sun. The agave hearts are roasted in earth pits over open flints, then crushed in a mule mill, fermented and double-distilled in small copper stills. With a strong alcohol content of 48% by volume, the Mezcal Joven (unripened) develops a complex and intense aroma profile - without any additives, colorants or industrial influences.
