Ploughing Edition (Third Crop) is inspired by the cold winters we experience here on the West Coast of Scotland.
Our signature Lochlea spirit has been matured in Ex-Islay peated casks. This liquid amplifies the smoky and coastal flavours we’ve come to expect from these casks & is also one year older than our 2023 release. The powerful peated casks and extra ageing combine to produce our smokiest whisky released to date.

Fresh green apple, sweet toffee and comforting notes of signature Lochlea cereal

More fresh fruit, giving way to wonderful savoury smoke and malted biscuits
Finish:
Moreish fresh coastal notes of sea salt and a long lingering hint of peat
