The Single Grain Cooper's Collection is the second release in a series of annual limited editions compiled by Master Blender Michael Henry.
Produced from 100% malted barley, this whisky is first matured in American oak casks and then matured in Spanish oak casks to accentuate the natural flavors of the single grain. The result is a whisky with a fruity and floral character, complemented by the spicy clove notes and creamy vanilla of the Spanish oak casks.
The Cooper's Collection Edition is distilled using only 100% malted barley and in bespoke, all copper, continuous "Coffey" stills. Michael Henry has carefully selected older whiskies that have been matured in first fill American oak casks. Working with the team of coopers, these whiskies were then finished in handmade Spanish oak casks to create a unique and complex whisky. 50% ABV.
