This limited edition single malt whisky, bottled in 2024 from Lindores Abbey Distillery, was distilled in 2018 and aged for six years in a single Oloroso sherry cask (#180093). It is bottled at cask strength (61.4% ABV) and offers an intense, full-bodied flavor profile with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, nuts, and spices. The whisky is a collector's item, with only 629 bottles produced.
Tasting notes
Nose: Vanilla sponge cake, dates, figs, molasses, vanilla cream, and hints of cinnamon
Palate: Raisins, date syrup, molasses, dark chocolate ganache, roasted walnuts, and spicy cinnamon
Finish: A pleasant, long, and complex finish that is balanced
