Aged in new American oak from Minnesota. Millet is a sought-after cereal in Asia and Africa and a popular base for spirits in Nepal.
However, this is the first whiskey made from millet. Only the "heart" of the distillate is used. The grain comes from a local collective of organic farmers in the Midwest.
Not filtered, 100% millet, organic, kosher and of course gluten free. Small Batch. Single Barrel.
Nose: Fresh, hints of cereals.
Taste: Spicy, balanced, notes of dates, ripe bananas, hints of orange zest.
Finish: Long lasting.
