Kilchoman is the first distillery to be built on Islay, today it is one of Islay's last independent distilleries.
Kilchoman Machir Bay is named after one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, which is not far from the distillery.
This single malt is traditionally distilled in pot stills and matured in Bourbon and sherry barrels.
All Kilchoman single malts are bottled without cold filtration and without the addition of colorants.
Nose: sweet-smoky, lime, citrus.
Taste: Vanilla, butterscotch, hints of sweet peat.
Finish: Long lasting.
