The Jura Distillery on the Isle of Jura, in Craighouse, has been in existence since 1810. The distillery takes its water from the Bhaille Mharghaidh spring. The distillery has one mash tun and six stainless steel fermenting vats. Distillation takes place in four stills - two coarse stills and two fine stills.
The Jura 14 Years Old American Rye Cask is initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels and is then finished in rye barrels.
