The Raasay Single Malt is a tribute to the highest hill on the Isle of Raasay, Dùn Caan. A blend of peated and unpeated distillate is used to produce this whisky.
The whisky is then matured for nine months in former Kentucky rye whiskey barrels. These casks were previously filled with Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry from Bodega Miguel Martin.
This Raasay single malt is the first in the annual Dùn Cana series, whereby each edition may differ slightly in terms of cask composition or age.
