The Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the oldest and most renowned whisky distilleries in Scotland. It is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland, making it the most northerly distillery in Scotland. Surrounded by rugged nature and stormy seas, Highland Park's whisky reflects the unique climatic conditions of the Orkney Islands. Today, the distillery belongs to The Edrington Group and produces around 2.5 million liters of whisky every year.
Highland Park 15 Years Old Viking Heart is matured for 15 years in carefully selected first-fill European oak casks, first-fill American oak sherry casks and refill casks, curated by experienced Master Distiller Gordon Motion. The elegant ceramic bottle is particularly outstanding, making a strong visual impression with its artistic embossing. It is made in collaboration with the experts at Wade Ceramics and underlines the exclusivity of this whisky.
