Since 2014, the Glasgow Distillery has been writing a new chapter in the history of whisky in its hometown – independently, innovatively, using five German-made copper pot stills and the finest Scottish barley.
In the lightly peated, small-batch bottling 1770 Glasgow 6 y.o. – Cognac Cask Finish, sweet smoke blends with rich honey, poached pear, dried apple, vanilla ice cream, and oak spice. This limited-edition whisky matured in bourbon and French oak cognac casks, marking the first time that peated and unpeated Glasgow distillates from cognac casks have been married together.
