Producing Whisky in its most original form - that made “Scotland's Little Gem” the among Scotch fans Legend. As one of the few distilleries in Scotland, Edradour produced its single malt exclusively in the old farm buildings until 2018. Some with equipment that has been around for more than 100 years and is rarely used in whiskey production anymore. That hasn't changed even after the completed expansion to include Edradour II.
The Edradour 12 year old Matured in Sauternes Casks spent its entire maturation period in first fill Hogsheads that were pre-filled with the French Dessert Wine Sauternes. The effect: fine sweetness and notes of citrus fruits.
