Distilled in 2012 and matured for over 12 years in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this single malt reveals the full depth and rich character of sherry cask maturation. Bottled at natural cask strength at 59.5% vol., it is powerful, complex and yet wonderfully harmonious. The Edradour distillery, known for its artisanal production in small batches, proves with this bottling how excellently intense sherry influence and creamy Highland sweetness can be combined.
Tasting notes: Color: Deep mahogany with ruby red reflections.
Nose: Rich and aromatic with notes of dark fruits, raisins, figs, dates, toffee, chocolate and toasted oak.
