The Deanston 18 Years Old Highland Single Malt is an outstanding whisky that embodies the artisan tradition of the Deanston Distillery. Housed in a former cotton mill dating back to 1785, the distillery has been producing unpeated Highland whisky since the 1960s, relying on natural processes including the use of water from the River Teith.
This 18-year-old single malt is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, which gives it exceptional depth and complexity. As a result of this long maturation, it develops a harmonious balance between sweet, spicy and malty notes, which are reflected in an elegant and multi-layered taste profile. With an alcohol content of 46.3% vol., no chill-filtration and no added colorants, this whisky remains in its purest form.
