Only barley from the island of Islay is used for Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013. The barley is grown by six different farms.
The farms are located in the following places: Coull, Rockside, Island, Mulindry, Cruach and Dunlossit.
The malt matures in oak casks for 8 years before bottling.
This bottling is already the eighth edition of the Unpeated Single Malt series from Bruichladdich.
