The Benromach whiskey distillery is located in the town of Forres in Scotland and was founded in 1898.
This was shut down and reopened a few times - but since 1998, the distillery shines again in new splendor.
The Benromach 15 Years Old matures for 15 years in sherry & bourbon casks.
The longer maceration softens the smokiness of the whiskey and complements a sweeter fruity character with oak flavors.

Nose: sherry, vanilla, orange zest, spicy ginger, notes of menthol, chamomile.
Taste: hints of cocoa, nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet honey, smoke.
Finish: Long lasting.
