The Benromach Contrasts: Virgin Oak 2013/2024 is a new addition to the range. For its premiere, casks were specially crafted in Speyside and gently charred before being filled with Benromach whisky. The result is a fragrant single malt with aromas of dried banana, lemon, and caramel on the nose. Lush notes of Seville orange peel, combined with butterscotch and gentle smoke, delight the palate. Long-lasting citrus notes complete the finish.
Nose: Fragrant dried banana with freshly squeezed lemon and soft vanilla fudge.
Palate: Seville orange peel with rich butterscotch and a hint of smoke.
Finish: Long-lasting citrus fruits with lingering notes of mature oak.
