The Ben Nevis Distillery is located near the highest mountain in Scotland. The water used to produce this whisky rises at an impressive 1,345 meters above sea level. This water undergoes natural filtering processes as it flows through peat, granite and stone before being collected in a small lake called Coire Leis.
The Coire Leis range includes one of two long-awaited original bottlings from the Ben Nevis Distillery. Although "distillery bottlings" are occasionally available, they are rather rare in Europe.
The single malt of this whisky matured for 10 years in oak casks.
