A rare single cask release from Balvenie. This whisky was distilled in early 1971 and then laid to rest in an ex-Oloroso Sherry cask for over 45 years before bottling. The nose is exotic spices and dark fruits with a hint of brown sugar while the palate is deep and rich with notes of honeycomb and toasted oak. The finish is malt sweetness and even more dried fruits. 49.9% ABV
