Smokehead is a brand of single malt Scotch whiskies that is internationally renowned for its strong and smoky flavor profile. The brand is part of Macleod Distillers, a traditional and independent family business that has been active in the whisky industry for generations. Smokehead combines traditional production methods with a modern, experimental approach, which makes this whisky particularly unique and full of character.

The production process of Smokehead High Voltage is based on traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations. The barley is first malted and dried over peat fires, which gives it the distinctive smoky notes that are typical of Islay whiskies. After fermentation and distillation, the malt is matured in oak casks, where it develops its distinctive character and complexity. The result is an intense yet refined whisky that makes a lasting impression. (automated translation)
