Since its founding in 1826 by James Allardice, the GlenDronach distillery in the Valley of Forgue has dedicated itself to perfecting cask-matured spirits. This single malt has matured for a full 18 years exclusively in the finest Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 46.0% ABV, it is produced without chill-filtration or added coloring, thereby fully preserving the spirit's impressive antique bronze hue and oily texture.

Aroma: Intensive Noten von cremigem Rosinen-Fudge verschmelzen mit der dunklen Süße von Muscovado-Zucker und einem vielschichtigen Fruchtkompott.

Geschmack: Ein vollmundiges Profil aus gerösteter Walnuss und feiner Schokolade trifft auf die würzige Tiefe von Piment und elegante Orangenakzente.

Nachklang: Der Abgang zeigt sich lang und tiefgründig mit Anklängen von süßen Datteln und der reichen Süße dunklen Ahornsirups.
