The whisky pours into the glass with a glowing copper hue, revealing a complex interplay of coastal smoke and waxy lemon zest on the nose. On the palate, it unfolds a rich texture characterized by dried apricots, luscious honey, and a subtle salinity. Thanks to its cask-strength bottling at 57.8% ABV and the absence of chill filtration, the intense flavors and the spicy note of candied ginger are fully preserved in the finish.

Founded in 2012, the Glasgow Distillery carries on the legacy of its historic 1770 predecessor within a modern, urban setting. This small-batch whisky was double-distilled on October 12, 2020, and initially matured for over three years in first-fill Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. It acquired its exceptional character through a twenty-month finishing period in barriques that previously held the prized Passito di Caluso, lending this peated single malt a rare aromatic complexity.
