Founded by John MacDonald in 1825, the Ben Nevis distillery uses pure mountain water from Scotland’s highest source for its spirits. This single malt revives the historic production method in which barley was kilned over peat smoke—a tradition reinterpreted here at a bottling strength of 46% ABV. True to its principles, the distillery omits chill-filtration and added coloring for this bottling, thereby preserving the spirit's authentic character.
