At a site steeped in the history of an 1862 naval battle, the distillery processes exclusively Virginia-grown grains in small batches. Maturation takes place in charred oak barrels, where the brackish air from the nearby river significantly influences the spirit, creating a unique microclimate that naturally shapes the aging process. 50% ABV.
