The Bunnahabhain Distillery, situated on the picturesque coast of the Isle of Islay, was founded in 1881 and is renowned for its unique, unpeated whiskies. The distillery originally relied on maritime trade and experienced a turning point in 1960 with the construction of a new road, which improved logistics. Following a brief closure in the 1930s and the last ship’s arrival in 1993, the road became the main supply route. In 2006, following its acquisition by Burn Stewart Distillers, the brand’s image underwent a modern revamp. The water used for the whiskies comes from calcareous springs and is channelled to the distillery without coming into contact with peat, which gives the whiskies their mild, characteristic flavour.

Bunnahabhain 17 Years Old MÒINE TRIPLE CASK Fèis Ìle Whisky is a cask-strength and exclusive treat that delights whisky lovers. This special bottling combines the flavours of three carefully selected peated whiskies: one with an Oloroso finish, one matured in bourbon casks and one with a rum finish.

The complex aroma is reminiscent of the seductive interplay between rum and raisin ice cream, which is Master Blender Julieann Fernandez’s favourite drink. Thanks to the unique combination of different maturation methods, this limited edition of 1,740 bottles unfolds with remarkable depth and finesse. 52.6% ABV.
