This bottling embodies the expertise—spanning over 130 years—of the venerable firm Gordon & MacPhail. For the Discovery series, a spirit from the Bunnahabhain distillery was selected and matured for eleven years in carefully chosen sherry casks made of European and American oak. These casks had previously been seasoned for at least a year in registered bodegas in Jerez, imparting a deep, fruity complexity to the whisky's typically smoke-free Islay style.

Aroma: Inviting aromas of ripe forest fruits and vibrant orange blend with the rich sweetness of fruitcake. A touch of vanilla and a subtle note of caramel lend elegant depth to the bouquet.
