Founded in 2005 by William Wemyss, Wemyss Malts is an independent family business known for producing exceptional spirits. The distillery is located in Fife on the east coast of Scotland. The building resembles a castle and is built on ancient caves formed in the sea cliffs.

The «Core Collection» of Wemyss Malts includes three finest single malts named for the aroma and flavor they present. The Hive (the beehive), Spice King (the spice king) and Peat Chimney (the peat chimney).

The Peat Chimney bottling is a blended malt whisky that introduces nuanced, smoky yet balanced flavors and settles into a sap-peat whisky style.
