Descripción

Cihuatán is a sacred land that still hides undiscovered pyramids and secrets of the Mayan civilisation – inspired by the legacy of the ancestors, this rum was created.

The Cihuatán Cinabrio Rum was inspired by the red mineral rock «cinnabar».

This hue is also reflected in the bottle design and is also said to reflect the connection to the god of the sun in Mayan mythology.

This rum matures for 12 years in former bourbon barrels made of American white oak.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Bright amber.

Nose: Light toasty aromas, plums, pistachios, orange peel, oak.

Taste: Fruity, complex, creamy, orange peel, fruit, wood.

Finish: Long lasting.
