The 1731 collection is an exciting compilation of rums from the Caribbean and South America that celebrates the rich diversity of Latin American flavors and traditions. It embodies not just a brand name, but an innovative take on rum that brings the authentic essence of times gone by to every glass. Inspired by historical events such as the year 1731, when the British Royal Navy began distributing rum among sailors, the 1731 brand presents a contemporary interpretation of this traditional drink. Each bottle tells its own story and offers an unforgettable drinking experience, from powerful regional blends to unique single-origin rums – all without additives, but with natural color and taste.
1731 Fine & Rare Belize 12 Years Old Rum is made from molasses and distilled in column stills. It then matures for at least 12 years in former American oak bourbon barrels. The tropical climate in Belize favors a more intensive maturation compared to whisky matured in the cooler climes of Europe. This rum is bottled without chill filtration or the addition of sugar, colorants or other additives.
