The Perfect Circle whiskies are produced by Shiki Shuzo Co. Ltd. in Japan. This distillery collaborates with many Japanese domestic distilleries. Shiki Shuzo is an independent company which has a business relationship with Matsui Shuzo, the producer of Kurayoshi whisky.

‘Enso’ is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning ‘circle’. This calligraphy is traditionally drawn with only one brushstroke and is not changed afterwards. This whisky has the sacred Japanese symbol printed as a label on the bottle.

Juju Kurihara is the Japanese calligrapher responsible for the design. She is the head of the ‘Sosekido’ school in Japan.

Maen Perfect Circle Whisky is a blend of malt and grain whiskies distilled two to three times in Copper Pots and aged between three and five years. Maturation takes place for 8 years in American white oak bourbon barrels.
