HYDE NO.10 – CALVADOS CASK SINGLE MALT – CALVADOS CASK FINISH

Hyde Irish Whiskey is aged in the temperate climate and rugged landscape of the southwest coast of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way. Hyde Single Malt Calvados Cask is distilled from 100% malted barley pertinently matured in flame charred, first fill, ex-bourbon white oak casks and finished in juicy Calvados Garnier casks from Normandy in France. This whiskey commemorates President Douglas Hyde’s completion of his seven year term as the first President of Ireland from 25 June, 1938 to 24 June, 1945.

NOSE: Fresh citrus fruit dominated by apples and pear with a hint of almond.

TASTE: Creamy peach, pear, watermellon, and vanilla with notes of apricot, baking spices, sweet pastries and flowers.

FINISH: A long smooth buttery finish with undertones of Malt, toffee, and vanilla.

Non chill-filtered / Natural Colour. 46% ABV. 70cl.
