The Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the oldest and most renowned whisky distilleries in Scotland. It is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland, making it the most northerly distillery in Scotland. Surrounded by rugged nature and stormy seas, Highland Park’s whisky reflects the unique climatic conditions of the Orkney Islands. Today, the distillery belongs to The Edrington Group and produces around 2.5 million liters of whisky every year.

Long winters, summer frosts and fierce winds make life on Orkney challenging, but provide ideal conditions for the production and maturation of exceptional whiskies. To honor this unique climate and as a tribute to Niflheim, the ancient Norse world of ice, frost and fog, the Highland Park 17 Years Old Ice Edition was created.

Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this special bottling delights with aromas of fresh pineapple and ripe mangoes, perfectly balanced by spicy smoke and ginger root.
