The Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the oldest and most renowned whisky distilleries in Scotland. It is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland, making it the most northerly distillery in Scotland. Surrounded by rugged nature and stormy seas, Highland Park’s whisky reflects the unique climatic conditions of the Orkney Islands. Today, the distillery belongs to The Edrington Group and produces around 2.5 million liters of whisky every year.
The 16-year-old Highland Park Wings of the Eagle is part of the exclusive four-part Travel Edition, which is dedicated to the Viking legends. With this special single malt, Highland Park honors the eagle, which plays an important role in the new whisky range. The amber-colored whisky matured in sherry casks made from European and American oak, which gives it its unmistakably spicy and elegant aroma. (automated translation)
