The Cava de Oro brand stands for high-quality 100% agave tequila, which comes from the Tequilera Puerta de Hierro. This distillery, located in El Arenal Jalisco, Mexico, produces handcrafted tequilas. The blue agaves are carefully harvested to ensure the best quality. Four varieties are then distilled: Plata, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo.

The blue Weber agaves are cooked over an open wood fire in volcanic stone ovens, which gives them an unmistakable aroma. At Tahona, only the best blue Weber agaves are ground using traditional methods before being fermented in wooden barrels for 120 hours. Once fermentation is complete, distillation takes place in traditional copper stills, giving the tequila its characteristic taste.
