This long-aged expression demonstrates how Glenrothes develops over many decades in oak. Even after 42 years it retains remarkable vibrancy, showing intense notes of mango and passionfruit on the nose before an oily palate of brown butter, cedar, citrus oils and earthy spices. Just 1,134 bottles were produced, a rare bottling of Glenrothes distilled in the early months of the 1980s. 43% abv.
