Descripción
Glen Scotia whisky is produced in the distillery of the same name, which was founded in 1832. The distillery, based in Campbeltown, has been producing first-class single malts for almost 200 years.
Its location near the sea, not far from the island of Islay, influences the character of the whiskies, which often have maritime and salty notes.
The whiskies in this new range are inspired by individual icons from the cross.
Glen Scotia whisky is strongly influenced by the coastal climate, and mermaid sightings along the coast were a notable theme, especially in the 19th century.
For the first release, a twelve-year-old single malt whisky was selected and finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks, a rare and special choice. (automated translation)
