Descripción

The gin is produced in Germany by the Scheible family.

Under the supervision of Karl-Friedrich Scheible the juniper schnapps is distilled and flavoured in the manufactory.

The name «Krater Noster» is derived from «Pater Noster» and contains the term «crater». The term «crater» is in the name because the Scheible family bought the juniper pasture on the crater edge of the Nördlinger Ries.

The volume percentages were also not chosen at random. In crater Ries the Wennenberg rises with 469m.

Botanicals: coriander seeds, cardamom, lemon peel, angelica, juniper, rhubarb.

Awards:

– Gold medal in 2019 at the World Spirit Awards.

– Double gold in 2016 at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco

Tasting notes:

Color: Clear.

Nose: sweet, fruity, tart, juniper, rhubarb.

Taste: Dry, tart, resinous, juniper notes.

Finish: Long lasting, dry.
