Finlaggan Port Wood Finished Whisky is produced in the Islay whisky region.

Islay is well known for producing particularly smoky and heavily peaty whiskies.

The whisky is bottled by the Vintage Malt Whisky Company – unfortunately the distillery is not disclosed.

Besides the regular maturation this whisky gets a finish in port wine casks.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Bright amber.

Nose: sweet and slightly smoky aromas.

Taste: Sweet notes, red fruit, smoke, leather.

Finish: Long lasting, sweetish.
