This special bottling was once an integral part of Elsburn’s Core Range, but had to be removed from the standard range due to high and constant demand, as it was not possible to continue production of this bottling indefinitely. Now the whisky is available again, albeit only in a limited edition, which is cause for celebration.

In the production of The Journeys, 95% conventional barley and 5% woodsmoked barley are used, which has been smoked with beech and alder wood. This whisky is matured in a unique combination of six different cask types: Sherry, Port, Madeira, Marsala, Malaga and GrandCru Bordeaux, which gives it an extraordinary variety of flavor nuances.
