Douglas Laing has updated the name of its famous Island Blended Malt bottling from ‘Rock Oyster’ to ‘Rock Island’ without changing the award-winning content. Rock Island brings together selected single malts from the Scottish islands of Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney, giving it distinctive smoky notes, sweetness and maritime flavors. As part of the Remarkable Regional Malts series, Rock Island symbolizes the diversity and quality of Scotland’s malt whisky regions.
The design of the Rock Island whisky bottles is characterized by the striking motif of the classic Rock Island oyster and the agave plant. Highlighted by bright, vibrant colors and finished with gold foil, the design embodies the ideal summer feeling and highlights the uniqueness of the whisky. A special feature of this whisky is its second maturation phase in ex-mezcal casks, which gives it an exceptional note and makes it unmistakable.
Limited to 1,500 bottles.
